I love cooking! I found that once I had quality tools and ingredients I was completely excited to cook. I invested in cook books and great cutlery. I am beginning my collection of great quality (relatively inexpensive) pots and pans. Love it!

I don’t know your religious beliefs but for those of us waiting until marriage this is so appropriate and hilarious. Now be warned the beginning is funny but please wait for the Rapture joke at about a minute into it. It’s the best part…

So I’ve moved out of my parent’s house and the first thing I realized is the amount of things I did not know. Like what is needed to fill a pantry and what should be on my grocery list. I am (quickly) learning how to budget, plan ahead and am starting to discipline myself. The last is the hardest because no one wants to restrict themselves from their pleasures. It is Written in our DNA to be hedonistic, self-serving and pleasure driven. Alas, I’m doing it and doing okay.
The only thing that I want to change at this point is that I want to own my home. That is my next major endeavor.
