My sis & I are taking a road trip to Colorado in about 3 weeks. We are going to visit Great Sand Dunes National Monument, Four Corners Monument, Mesa Verde Nat. Park, Arches Nat. Park (in UT), Durango (ride the train to Silverton & drive the San Juan Skyway), then take Route 66 back home to Dallas. I’m so excited!

I didn’t care much for cruising. I am not the party-all-night-long, drink-til-you-can’t-walk, bar hopping/clubbing type of girl. I’d rather get up early & spend all day at a national park or at a historical landmark. It just wasn’t my thing but it would be great with a big group of people or as a family reunion.
As children my sis & I traveled a lot with our parents, but as adults that travel has evolved. We still bicker but we get along pretty well. It is also great to not be afraid of stating your opinion because, like most siblings, we state our mind, possibly argue about it, then go on as if nothing happened. Last spring we went on a cruise to Mexico. It was okay but not something I care to do again. Not because of my sis but because I found I am not a cruise person. We are now going on a road trip to Colorado in a few weeks. This is more along our style. We aren’t the party-all-night, drink-till-you-can’t-walk, bar/clubing type of 20 somethings. We prefer getting up early to beat the crowds, national parks, history, culture type trips. We are both so excited. Yipee!
