How I did it: I have a basic of Information system degree not related much to networking but close enough. I do work as network engineer but no certifications at that time. I took the express course on CCNA, bought myself some good books - one of them from Todd Lammle. Bought CBTNuggets video tutorial with the author Jeremy Ciaora.
