I’m finally starting to learn French. I took a 7 hour intensive class today. After being in France last winter, my passion to learn French was renewed, but I didn’t continue my momentum after I returned. This is the start of a change to that.

Both parents used food as a coping mechanism while growing up, so it was natural for me to pick up on this too, which I did. This continued into adult life, and at my heaviest, I weighed around 160 lbs. I am a 5’7” 28 y.o. girl. This was way too heavy.
The journey to lose the excess weight began about 2 years ago. Since then, through diet and exercise, I’m now just under 130 lbs. (129 to be exact!); the lowest I’ve been my entire adult life! I’m aiming for about 10 more lbs., but I’m not looking for a quick fix. This is a lifestyle change, so I’m on the slow and steady course, plodding along.
10 last lbs., here we come! =)
