How I did it: Decided to do it. Picked a time when I didn't have a lot of plans and didn't have work - the Easter long weekend worked for me. Found something with a bit of caffeine to help me get through the withdrawal headaches - I used black tea, but have even stopped using that now. Allowed myself a bit of fizzy on occasion - lemonade (with no caffeine) worked well. Read how I did it…
Thought “one won’t hurt” at lunch, before realising that it definitely would. Resisted and had mineral water instead.
This is the second day back at work, which is when I thought it would be the hardest. I’ve managed with tea instead of coke for my morning wake up. I figure when I haven’t had any for a month, that’s when I count it as given up.
