We’ve learned that Love is something that should not be taken for granted,
Some may say that love conquers all, but sometimes, I doubt it.
The pain that it causes is more than words can even explain,
Once trust is lost it becomes even harder for one to regain.
I love you with all I have baby, and those words are the truth,
But Even in the bible eve was lured into eating the forbidden fruit.
I admit that my mistakes were choices that had led to unbearable heartbreaks,
The past cannot be changed, but it is now up to us to remake.
I did what I did and I regret every single, little bit,
I ask myself each day “how did I destroy this ‘relationship?”
I am truly sorry baby and I wish that you could only understand.
But I will prove it to you one day, we will get through this, I just know that we can.
It is clear to all that you’ve changed into a better man
That is something that can only be accomplished by a strong man.
Because of that, you inspire me, motivate me, i look up to you,
I dug myself into a deep hole and stayed there, until you came to my rescue.
my eyes told lies, you already knew that I was being untrue.
But now I’ll prove that my goals and promises are something that I will pursue.
