OK, so Tinkerbell wasn’t such a good idea. Grayson’s still skating, but Bethany’s moved on to . . .Spiderman. So maybe Spiderman on a skateboard? Just kidding!
I have almost completely decided on a dolphin. I know, a complete reversal of what I said about them becoming so common. But it’s an image that has always had a special importance to me. I have always been fascinated with them. Don’t tell my hubby, but swimming with the dolphins was the highlight of our honeymoon! The intelligence and dedication to family, remembering to keep the fun and playfulness in life, all that dolphins represent has meaning to me. Screw what anyone else thinks!
So now I need to finalize the image and placement, and find the artist! I’ve been to a few shops and found one guy I like and feel comfortable with. I saw one guy on the internet who’s in town and does incredible work. But can I afford him?!
Better get going. My 35th birthday is in 10 weeks!
Just checked the website, and our December check for $104.60 has gone out! I have tons more at home that I need to package up. Those collection sheets really seem to be working! Hopefully the word will start getting around about the prizes, and I’ll get even more!
