This has definitely been an eye-opening experience, but it has raised more questions than it has answered which is why I’ve also made the separate goal to learn how to chart the planets. This is pretty difficult, but fascinating. I’m curious to see if Boyfriend’s opposing sun sign will truly be too much to handle or if he has some cooperative signs further into his celestial chart… Cross your fingers for us!

How I did it: I used a baking sheet as a frame and arranged the corks I had slowly but surely collected. At first I hot-glued them and a few popped off when they cooled so i'm going to reglue them to the board and hot-glue in between them as a grout. I think it i cover the hot-glue with sand that would be a good way to cover the shine, but still maintain the same color scheme. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I saved up, applied for a year-long working holiday visa (http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/working-holiday/), hoped for the best, then enjoyed everything I possibly could. I worked for a while in Sydney (by signing up with a temp agency) and traveled using Sydney as a home base.It was not hard to get a visa because i'm younger than 30. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My friend had been going every other week and asked me to join him one weekend. I said yes immediately knowing I wouldn't do it if I waited to "check my schedule". I was never scared, but then they opened the bay doors i thought to myself, "Wow, someone should close that or we might fall out." I was never scared until I was sitting on the edge about to jump. When I looked down I second-guessed myself but had no other choice but to jump. I… Read how I did it…

this goal has been a little warped, but in a good way. instead of documenting my life, i’m documenting things around this beautiful city (ahem New Orleans if ya nasty) that make me delighted to call it home. i’ve been posting them to instagram on a daily to twice-daily basis. There are so many beautiful leftovers from retailers past, moments that make you smile, and graffiti that makes you think. Gaudy glitter and timeless beauty come together to make this city what she is…
I’m trying to be a little more healthy this month. Yoga is one of my 43t goals so I’m trying to find a place close by, but they only have classes at the crack of dawn. This one’s going to be hard. I bought a bike and have started biking to and from work and to go out with friends. The bike is helping me continue January’s goal of using my time more wisely, allowing me to get errands done and socialize more easily. I’ve also started reading Dorian Gray again, which I had left at my moms for a few weeks. He’s back and I’m trying to wade through the flowery language.
Also, hopefully Boyfriend move is this month so I’m trying to finish preparing the house.
Little steps in self-improvement.
