I have about a month to learn. Luckily I once knew how to drive, I just never got enough practice. I don’t have a car to learn in though, although I should have one really soon, I’m hoping even sooner than I think. I’m not nervous about learning, I just wish I could do it myself, I’m nervous about having someone else there. I just need to study the rules of this state, and practice. Unfortunately, I drove someone’s car, just backing out of the garage and back in, and I think I messed up the transmission, though it’s back to normal now. I don’t know how I did that, but I’m kinda nervous about remembering everything and learning quickly enough.

I’m really inspired hearing how quickly some of you learned. I’m thinking I’ll be able to dedicate Sunday to learning. I’ve been trying but the bike I have is too big for me, and I only have my neighborhood to practice in. I’m gonna go to the thrift store and get a small bike and find an open space to practice on.
I found a skateboard in my garage a few days ago and I’ve been skating ever since. I actually found a long one(my bf’s) and a short one(his brothers). I’m using the short one, because I’m short and it feels more comfortable. I fall everytime, but I’m getting a lot better. I ride goofy, but today I felt the urge to change footing in the middle of a turn? Very strange, I’m still figuring out turning, I can lean and turn but not all the time, I can do the full board turn only when I’m practicing, not when I’m really riding. Unfortunately I’m riding in my neighborhood on the sidewalk mostly. But I was originally doing this to get me confident about my balance in trying to learn to bike, but I really love doing it and remember how much I wanted to as a preteen watching the x games and such. It’s a lot of fun.
