I plan on doing two versions of this; one set of self-portraits and one set of general photos. Just waiting on my D80 and 50mm lens to get in before I get started.

How I did it: No family to support, good paying job, and saving 30% of my post-tax income every paycheck before I do anything else with it. I'm still technically in debt, but I'll be in positive net worth within 2-3 years at most. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Maybe not everyone would consider Baltimore a big city, but compared to cities in WV it is. It's so nice to be able to walk almost anywhere you need to go. I live 1/2 mile from where I work, about 1/3 mile from the grocery store, and about a mile from the bars, stores, and restaurants downtown. It helps keep you in shape to walk everywhere; I don't even own a car. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Manned up and got one last year (my last year at college). It is sooooo useful to be able to be in touch wherever you are. No hunting for the now non-existent payphones or having to constantly worry about figuring where to meetup when you split up from others when you're out and about. Read how I did it…

Been training since July for the mardi gra marathon. Broke the 20 mile barrier twice so far, and will do it 2 more times before I go. I owe my life to GU packs; I wouldn’t be able to run even 15 miles without some pick me up.
I’m planning on setting up a trip to costa rica in the next year to do this!!!
