I quit smoking approximately 5 weeks ago. I have no desire for cigarettes now, and am happy to have my healthy lifestyle back. I didn’t smoke terribly heavily, but for approx 4 years. I had a drastic life change and decided to stay away from alcohol and cigarettes. I feel so healthy now that I could not imagine smoking. I have increased my exercise, taken up cycling, and am learning how to cook and eat healthier. I think an entire lifestyle modification helps. If you just want to quit smoking but still drink a ton, laze around, and eat crap all day, it’s not going to be easy. Im not considering this ‘giving up on something’ but rather gaining good health.
