I am now, actually a better cook than my mom. This is due mostly out of increased interest on my part, and decreased interest on hers. When I am home, I am the chef, and I prepare food that blows my family out of the water. One time I even helped my dad with his grilling, and when people were raving to him about it, I kept my mouth shut, but my sister piped in that I am the one that seasoned it.

If I can get my act together and buy my own taxicab, I will save $12,000 in expenses. That is well worth it I think. Unlike some cities, there are no “medallions” which limit the number of cars. Granted we could become “overbuilt” with such low barriers to entry, but I have noticed most drivers are not very good with money, and therefor unlikely to be able to ever buy their own cars.
I have been waiting for someone to hop in my cab and yell “follow that cab”. So far I have just heard “Follow that car”, and “Go where that cab is going”. Both are close. I even implored the latter to rephrase, but they were Japanese and with the language problem, I just settled for listening to what sounded like the soundtrack to Street Fighter, when battling a “boss.”
