I was at the bookstore a while back and overheard a couple talking about a psychology book written in French and how cool it would be to do be able to read it. I can speak and read French but I think I take it for granted now, sadly enough. Most people I know don’t really seem to care. I’m from Texas so maybe that has something to do with it? Ha, ha. In any case, with hard work you do make progress, but don’t always notice it day to day. My biggest recommendation is to go live in a French speaking country and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. This is the best way to learn French.

I don’t regret becoming a vegetarian in the least. I’ve been doing it for over ten years. I went through a couple of odd “pendelum” periods, one summer when I was vegan, and one summer when I went back to eating meat. Since then I’ve found a nice middle ground for myself and set guidelines I can live with. I do eat fish, dairy and egg products and this probably will not change for me. It might not be the best choice for everyone but it does not hurt to try. It’s definitely one of the best things I have ever done for myself. To each his own, no? Good luck on your journey!
I bought my house a few months back and I only slightly regret my decision. Most of the time I really do love my house but problems do arise and you have to be prepared. Before buying, you really have to be ready and I would say I was about 85% ready. I did feel that if I did not just do it I would simply keep putting it off and end up living in an apartment the rest of my life. House living is more expensive for sure. I don’t have as much money to spend on little things anymore and you really have to be on top of things to make it work.
