I just called around using the phone book. I wasn’t charged a dime (however it is customary to still tip your stylist, and I even tipped more than usual.) They cut my hair and gave me a cute little bob. The hair dresser took care of sending the hair for me and everything. It is important to find an official Locks of Love Salon…they should have a seal affixed somewhere in the front of their store. I received a thank you email and postcard a few weeks later. It was a lovely experience!

been there, done that, it wasn’t as romantic as it seems in the movies…maybe because it was night time? i’m not sure but there are definitely better kisses to be had :o)
Italy was the most amazing country! I studied abroad in Florence. It was by far the most life changing thing i’ve ever done. I am now convorsationally fluent in italian and you would be shocked how often i’ve used this fluencey here in the US. It was beautiful. The Vatican was amazing, Pompeii was everything i could have hoped it to be and more, Venezia (Venice) was the most romantic place i could have ever imagained let alone actually experienced, and Florence, well all I can say is this:
America is my country, but Firenze is my home town!
I hope that my experience will help you to understand what a worth while time you can have being in italy.
