I have been coaching Academic Games at the elementary level for about 5 years. I have qualified children every year for the National Tournament. (except for 2005-06 when we were not able to play due to the aftermath of Katrina.) I have good players, but they have never placed in Nationals. (the competition is tough.) My 4th-graders last year were phenomenal. They really held their own competing against 4th-6th graders at Nationals. I should have my whole team returning this year. I think we have a good chance.
