My goal may be completed yet!
I have an interview for a job tomorrow. I’m a bit nervous – the idea of taking that big step and moving there is fairly scary…
But I guess I will just have to wait and see how the interview goes first :D

How I did it: After university I signed on to Job Seekers benefits (relevant to the UK). I wanted to get into work as quickly as possible though. This was very hard to achieve. I live in an economically deprived area so jobs are very hard to find unless you know the right people.I also have an arts degree so I tend to be instantly laughed out the room if thats mentioned ;)I applied for loads of jobs using local and national websites. This covered … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I did my research online to seek out local volunteer vacancies. I wanted something related to my skills and career choice so I could be useful to the charity and it would boost my CV.I contacted three charities. They can be understaffed so it took awhile for them to get back to me. I volunteered to be a reader with the local 'talking newspaper'. A talking newspaper is a service for the blind or vision impaired. A group of 'readers' w… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I have always been painfully shy so public speaking was torture... and for those watching my awkward presentations it must have been awful! However I knew I had to get over it and doing a course at university presented the perfect opportunity. It took time and it was not easy - there is no quick route to getting over this fear. But with dedication you can do it.I'm still not perfect (and I prefer it if I… Read how I did it…

My lesson went really well today. Practised my maneuvers for the first time in ages and I did pretty well! Just need to remember to keep it slow…
Other than that need to be more observant using all my mirrors and plan ahead so my timing and judgement keep getting better.
I’m starting to refine my goals so have a definite end. That way my goal is more constructive and achievable – and it gives me a reason to celebrate!
So for this one I am applying the 30 day rule. That way by the end of the 30 days it should be a natural habit. If it isn’t done in 30 days I’ve failed and I have to start again.
