more frustration

so… i love my pets. is that so wrong? when i find an apartment/condo/house/whatever to live in, i’d really like to have my pets live with me. is that so hard?

apparently, it is. i guess it’s this way everywhere, but i’ve really noticed a marked resistance to pet ownership by the leasing establishments here. which is odd, because i don’t think i’ve ever seen so many pet owners out and about before.

if anyone knows how to find people who want to rent their condo or apartment to some nice folks with nice pets… let me know.

pure frustration

finding a house to rent is apparently one of the most difficult things to do ever. at least when your basically limited to using the internet, as driving around looking for For Rent signs seems somewhat wasteful, not to mention what i’d be doing to the environment. besides, did i mention? i have no time.

anyway, my wife and i are trying to find our own place up here. we just moved, and we’re currently living with my (very generous) sister and her family, in their basement. it’s not an ideal situation for anybody, even though it’s fun for the time being, we need our own spot. so, we thought “hey, why not a house?” thinking it’d be easy, or something.

it’s not.

but anyway, besides needing to rant about it for a little while, i thought perhaps someone might happen upon my little plea and offer some advice. anybody?

train my dog
Doggy Dominance

We got our dog Lucy about 3 months ago, when she was 3 months old. We got her from the pound, so we have no idea what sorta life she led before we got her. They had just picked her up off the street about a week before we got her. She’s extremely intelligent, most of the time, but she definitely doesn’t understand that we’re in charge, and she’s not. We’re hoping to get some advice from a professional dog trainer soon.
