How I did it: Found out I was pregnant! Planning to keep drinking to a minimum once baby arrives - the last thing I need are sleepless nights and hangovers!! The funny thing is, despite being pregnant, I lost 7 lbs right off the bat, and I guarantee its because I stopped drinking. My diet did not change otherwise. Read how I did it…

We’re finally buying a house! We got the mortgage, gone through all the inspections, appraisals, etc., and now we just have to wait until the closing. YAY!! Just keeping my fingers crossed double until then that everything is smooth sailing from here…
Third time's a charm?

We’ve tried to buy a house every year for the past three years (lots of long stories that just amount to us not quite being ready). We’re in the process of applying for the mortgage again & I am starting to get stressed out. We found a wonderful program, but it’s just taking some time. I am so scared that my dreams will be shattered again, and I am desparate to get into a new place. My rent is so insanely high and my mortgage will likely be at least several hundred dollars less than my rent…I need this so badly. So just putting this out into the universe – please let me get this mortgage so I can buy my dream home!
