I wish there was another option, rather than worth it/not worth it. Although I think I learned a lot, by no means is college the only avenue to success. I know a lot of useless “smart” people.
I was able to purchase a home in the Bay Area in 1998, when real estate was still somewhat sane. I’ve built up a nice little chunk of equity, and am looking forward to renting this house out, while purchasing home #2.
