I have myself a Kodak DX3700, second hand. It takes pictures, that’s the main part. Unfortunately, it’s ancient, the viewscreen is barely visible most of the time, and it’s clunky as hell, so I was thinking of eventually saving up to get a slightly nicer camera.
I don’t really want a super cheap point and shoot. I would like to add to what I can do with a camera; I’ve taken photography courses and enjoyed tinkering with the variables. I don’t just want to take candid snapshots; I want to see what kind of pictures I can really take.

I’m going through a shift in my life and I’m re-evaluating a lot of things, and it helps if you have a few people who understand what you’re going through in life.
I’ve been looking at making some new connections in my life and I really don’t know where to start. But I think it’s time to start meeting some more gay/lesbian/bi/trans/queer people. I’ve made a few new connections but being slightly more out on the Internet than I am in real life still puts me in a bit of an awkward position.
I’d like some connection too…not having non-heterosexuality be the only thing that keeps us talking.

In the past seven months I’ve taken a few steps here and there to open up and be the person that I am. There are a lot more people that know online and in real life. It helps.
But I still feel this divide. The more people that know, the more I can talk about it, but it’s still a double life.
I feel like I’m cutting myself off from my friends who don’t know. And I feel like I need to get to know some more GLBT people (which relates to another goal I have posted here).
