I was a nail-biter for a long, long time. Long time.
I did eventually stop, maybe a year ago. You just have to figure out the reason that you bite them, then solve that problem.
For me, it was how much jagged edges bothered me. I had to fix my nails.
Started bringing a file with me everywhere and I trim ‘em up frequently. Problem solved. :)

This is pretty much the ultimate goal, huh.
Other things “I’ve done” all contribute to this; straight edge, zen, spending more time with friends, etc.
Still, I need to be happy for the long haul, not just for certain moments when things go right. Cure, not go into remission. I know there will be bad times always, but I strive to handle it with perfect grace someday. I’d like to have no regrets.
Getting close, I will say that. I’m still young.

I think straight edge is more relevant (lack of a better term) for those who have been pretty heavy into substance in the past.
I don’t wish to discuss that past, but I’ve been completely sxe for seven months. Not a thing has touched my system, and I lack casual sexual affairs as well.
It isn’t for everyone, but for me it’s been beautiful. Totally worth it, and I plan/hope to never go any other way.
