It made me

How I did it: Through ridiculous amounts of studying, hard work and determination, me and my team have made it to state competition 3 times out of our 3 competing years. I have competed twice and it's been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I love my team and we won state all three times. Read how I did it…

feel like winner.
How I did it: I studied by butt off, reread sections over and over again, feel asleep on my study notebook almost every night, laminated my speech cards and took them in the shower. When the time for state competition came though, I was ready. I scored almost 1,000 points higher than I did last year. I got the highest score on my team. I'm so proud of myself. My boyfriend and I have been dating for a little over 2 years and not once have we kissed in the rain. I can’t wait until we do:)
I’m the only one in my close family who believes in God, which in turn makes me feel like I’m going in on this alone. I feel like if I read the Bible it will help me in a way to get closer to God in my life. There are many people in this world that serve to negatively influence me. I have to learn to be strong and overcome these obstacles and God can help me. I know this.
