I was vegan for about a month, did pretty well, and enjoyed it. However, at this time in my life it doesn’t seem very practical to continue, because it puts a lot of stress on my parents and also on my friends and family when I’m at their houses. Anyways, so I’m marking this as complete because I proved to myself that I could do it, but this just isn’t the right time. I’ll probably try again once I’m living on my own, during/after college.
For now, I’ll continue being vegetarian, and be like half vegan. I’ll drink rice/soy/almond/etc milk instead of regular, use vegan margarine/cream cheese/all that stuff, but just not be fully committed at this time.

How I did it: I was diagnosed with rapidly-progressing scoliosis (curvature of the spine) in the end of 9th grade. I wore a brace every night (8 hour minimum) from May '09 to December '10.
