Ok, so yesterday I was worrying about something and I decided to get a notebook to write it all out. My rule is that if I’m worrying about something, I should start writing. If I have the motivation to worry about something, then I might as well get a pen out and have it be a “productive” worry! Today? It’s helping!!!!!
The problem I find is that every now and again (this is maybe once a week or once every two weeks?) I will get stuck on an issue. This issue can be work-related or personal and I start thinking about a situation and next thing I know, 20 minutes have passed and I’m still thinking about it. I would like to set up “worry” times to try to break the habit. Is anything really worth 20+ minutes of worry???
