I have started getting in to the habit of doing this, and it’s helpful that my brother singing in their choir. This has the added benefit of making it easy to see him and get brunch each week.

My walk is ~2 miles, about what I did to and from campus during grad school. The shift to walking is mostly an issue of
a) time potentially spent sleeping in and
b) the three busses that run past my front door
