Now this is quite a personal thing and one which I hope 43 things will help me to achieve. I know that there is no accounting for taste. I am not trying to knock the film (too much) but it seems that people think it is the greatest piece of cinema ever. Which it isn’t! I don’t know what is, but I feel like an outcast at university for not having proudly displayed on Facebook as a favourite film!

How am I going to do this?
In order for this to happen I think I will need to:
-learn a foreign language to a Yes/No/Please/Thankyou level THEN
-live the foreign country and then it should happen naturally
Now friends I have who have ended up studying at university abroad have ended up not improving their language skills due to being handicapped by having English as their first language (I remember talking once myself to a girl in French who said, ‘let me speak English, your French is so bad.’ I was gutted!)
I am looking at courses where there is real immersion for this Summer to get me started.
