When to walk? 11 months ago

Walking on a summer evening is very pleasant, but walking in the dark on a winter evening is less so.

I walk to my office and back most days, but that’s only 15 minutes each way. I should really walk for at least an hour.

I have an audiobook which is 32 hours long! If I were to walk whilst listening to an hour’s worth every day, this could motivate me for a month! I hope it’s a good story.



write letters to friends (read all 2 entries…)
Five months on 11 months ago

Five months and I haven’t sent a single letter!

Emails, cards, video chats and visits … but not one letter. I said that I wasn’t going to set myself a schedule, but I think a schedule might now be a good idea.

One letter per week, every week, probably around teatime on Sunday: crumpets & calligraphy!

Begin again 11 months ago

Last time I only got as far as week two before I allowed myself to be sidetracked, but now I’m determined to stay the course.

Reading the entries from five months ago is encouraging: hope I achieve the same enthusiasm this time around.
