I just finished watching the excellent program Himalaya with Michael Palin and really got intrigued by his visit to Bhutan.
It seems still a very pure country with beautiful nature, not too much wasted by outside influences.
The above may actually the reason I won’t go. Just to keep it like that. They have agreat policy though that you have to spend at least 200 US a day which keeps the number of visitors down.
But still, I really would love to see it for myself.

It is maybe not easy but definitely worth it once you get past the stage of pronouncing the tones. Being able to have a small conversation is the first step.
Going to China and study there helped me a lot as it put me in the right environment.
I’m living now in Shanghai and I still take Chinese lessons to improve my abilities.
Especially reading is a challenge but I’ll get there.
