I’ve been jogging for about the past two weeks now, about three times each of those weeks. I friggin LOVE it!!! Jogging has become my new best friend. It’s surprsing to those who know me because I’ve never liked running and in fact not less than a month ago hated it! But I’m really determined to run a few 5k’s this spring and would one day like to run a marathon. I turn on my IPOD, grab my two pups, and hit the road. The most amazing part of it all is that each time I am able to run longer and faster and harder. And each time it hurts less and less. Granted it still hurts, but without the pain it wouldn’t be as worthwhile. Trust me on that one.:)

How I did it: A good friend and I drove to a small town cemetery one summer night, with the desire to take photographs of random headstones and statues, with the possibility of capturing a ghost on film.We were young..ish, dorks (still are), and were inspired by all the ghost hunting television series out at the time. Needless to say our film showed nothing strange (go figure). Read how I did it…
How I did it: This was completely accidental. I moved in with my boyfriend about 5 months ago and he coincidentally does not have television/cable. He has a tv, he has about a hundred movies, but there is no CNN here, no MTV, VH1, or Showtime. We watch films occasionally, but I look up the current weather conditions online, I get my pop culture fix from perezhilton.com, and I watch SNL clips on Youtube. It is interesting to say the least. Sometimes I m… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I planned everything! I planned where we'd stay, places to eat, things to do and see, and I organized it all in a pretty little collaged binder. I wanted it to be an experience I'd never forget, and it definitely was.:DMy little sister and I, we were 20 and 18 at the time, drove from our home state of Minnesota to California, and then down through the southern states and back up to good old Minnesota. We left in early July and spent about… Read how I did it…

OKay sooo I’ve had yet another realization. I’ve realized that this goal is always going to be around. I’m never going to 100 percent, completely overcome it. I basically just went an entire month without hardly EVER logging onto my computer. But now that school’s back in session I use the internet as my excuse as to why I can’t get homework assignments in on time. I also notice that when those few times a year pop up when I’m feeling horrible about myself, I tend to spend more time online. Trying to find people or “friends” that will feed my ego. They tell me how pretty or how funny I am. Obviously I tend to have some major insecurity issues. I think that if any one goal needs to be accomplished more than any other it’s working on loving myself more. Amen to that!
I’m so tired of the rules my parents continue to lay out for me. I’m flippin’ 21 years old! My mom freaked out when I told her I was going to a club with friends last week, because she didn’t want me drinking! What the hell?! Little does she know about my “stash” I have hidden in my bedroom. Of course I can’t drink any of it while she’s home because of her killer nose. How pathetic is that? Anyways, I’ve been a very good girl for a very long time and I am SO ready to get a little crazy. I’ve been looking for roommates for the past week and think I may have found a good match! We’re meeting up this weekend to talk about rent and whatnot. Wish me luck!:)
