I am getting more interested in the culture on my mom’s side of the family. They are a Native American tribe called the Tetlit Gwich’in However there isn’t many of them left, especially after the genocidal tendencies of Canada. Using residential schools and what not the culture is almost completely vanished. Very few people speak the language or practice traditions… The language is actually endangered as less than 5% of the pop. speak it. I still want to learn it though.

How I did it: I worked off my debt over the summer. I would put almost my entire check each week towards my debt, after a few months it was all paid... I actually had my 4 cards paid off once before but then fell into debt again. I already used one of my cards again (2 months later), but at least the other 3 are paid off. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Started applying places, and eventually got a phone call and an interview set up. It went well and I got it. This was years ago in highschool. To be honest I didn't really want a job, so I probably could have got one faster if I tried. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went to a camp they were holding and went through some workshops. Now I go to the weekly Greenpeace meetings in my town and we brainstorm what to do... The last few events have ended up in the paper, at least twice on the front page. Read how I did it…

As a little dude, I’d look up at planes in wonder and think about the freedom of flying through clouds. I’m a little afraid of heights and get vertigo, but at the same time it makes it more exciting to be up high. I would like to overcome the fear.
I’ve been working full time since school ended, and I have 3 out of 4 of my cards completely paid off. In another two or three weeks I will be debt free!
