Today was a picture sorting day, me, my mom and my sister got out all the albums and large containers filled with pictures and went through all of them. It’s like my parents took pictures every single day back in the 70s and 80s and then by late 90s ‘till now no one ever takes pictures unless it christmas time or if someone goes on vacation…there are barely any pics of me during my teenage years and it makes me kind of sad :( Oh well. It’s time to bring out the picture taking addiction! What sucks is that I am not as photogenic as I was back when I was a kid…

I started my plan for doing 500 crunches a day yesterday. If you watch a movie while doing the crunches and take small breaks it helps you get through it.

I don’t get it, I’m thin, but I have a little extra upper arm fat. It doesn’t look HORRIBLE but I should have skinnier arms! I started using resistance bands today and I am not going to give up until I have arms that suit me better.

I started writing a fantasy novel when I was fourteen or fifteen and now I am nearly nineteen. I got up to 600 pages but with editing it got down to 300 something. I’ve rearanged it so many ways, added so many things, changed character names, changed dialogue. I always find something new to correct…it seems like I’ll never be done with the story. I am very frustrated lately becasue some parts of the story sound immature…or something, and I seem to have a problem with transitions. It’s one of those stories that have many things going on at once and not all of the characters are in the same place and I feel as if when I jump back and forth between characters the transitions are just…not right. Sometimes I find little cliches (after all I started writing this when I was fairly young and inexperienced in writing for the most part) so now I have to go back and redo things. I have a MAJOR problem fleshing out the world. I can’t describe clothing, buildings, appearance of people and stuff like that very well. I’d say 85% of the story is pure dialogue because that is the only thing that I am good at writing for the most part. I also wonder if my characters lack quirks or other interesting personality traits…it’s probably too late to change that. I am so envious of Stephen King and other authors who seem to come out with a book every month or something cray like that. It’s taking me so long and makes me question if I should be writing novels in the first place.

I have had holes in my ears since I was 4, but I never really liked earrings too much. Well…I kind of did when I was younger, but then I started to get annoyed with them and didn’t wear them anymore. So…whenever I wanted to wear earrings for special ocassions I had to practically repunch my old holes because they were pretty much closed up. I got into this “Makeover” mood and bought a new wardrobe and crap then I found myself in Claires and I saw all these cute little earrings and I bought myself some cute little silver kitty earrings and so far I’ve been wearing them. One of my ears gives me trouble, and I am guessing its because the hole is crooked, and I’ve been putting peroxide on it. I’m not going to give up! I WILL WEAR EARRINGS.

I don’t technically know how to play piano but hours of staring at the little screen above the keys of my keyboard that show where the fingers should go when the keyboard plays a song from the song bank I was able to teach myself to play Hungarian Dance (with a slight modification but no one knows the difference). So far I’ve learned the first part of Fur Elise which is pretty easy…the middle part is going to be hard to learn but I’m SO determined! It would be great to learn by the end of summer or something.
