Haven’t been in 3 months but at least I got my account put on hold.

How I did it: I had to not buy any chocolate, say no when it was offered, and monitor myself for emotional eating. It was helpful to write down daily updates as to whether or not I had eaten any that day.I have read parts of the book "Shrink Yourself," where they address emotional eating. After I completed the goal I went on a huge choco binge. It is a learning experience that is ongoing. This along with my water goal and my half marathon goal are teac… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Did this between the ages of 21 and 23. Just didn't quit and kept showing up every day to my classes, worked as hard as I could, took the tests, paid the fees and went through the admissions process. The essential element was persistence, though one could call it stupidity or hard-headedness. How I did it: My boyfriend (now husband) bought me a load of dive gear. He wanted a dive buddy. I didn't have much interest in it but I reluctantly agreed to learn. He then signed me up for classes at Sport Chalet. The classes were first in the classroom going over concepts such as Boyle's law. For the next two classes we went to a local pool. The 4 weeks of the class coincided with a particularly stressful time at work. During that month, one Sat… Read how I did it…

I am doing the LA marathon with a training group. It is a long run on the weekend and 2 shorter runs during the week. I completed the 20 week half marathon program this summer and now I would like to do the full marathon. We are on about week 6. Yesterday we ran 7 miles. Actually it was running and walking. We are using the run/walk method. It is described in this book.
I left work for 1h and went to a spin bike class. I have come back to work to finish my documentation, but I feel much better for having gone. My legs feel good and my mood is better.
