I have several good friends, but life just hasn’t brought along a best friend after things seperated between me and Pam. I sensed that the friendship was unhealthy and asked to take a step away which was perceived wrong. I hate it. I deeply care about her but now she refuses my calls. I have realized that the friendship was developing a codependancy that was not good for either of us. Now, starting a job after 18 years at home. I am still reluctant. Where do you find true friends?

God has opened a door for this that blows me away as He has given me a paid position at the crisis pregnancy center where I have volunteered for 2 years. The highlight of my day is always greeting someone with a need, making conversation with them, talking with them about their life, sharing how God loves them, giving them options when they are faced with pregnancy that promotes life.
It seems so simple….it is always on my list of “to do’s” but it is often the first thing I skip in my day.
What is it?
Taking the time to set and read a portion of God’s Love Letter to me.
Gee…I don’t know why that is. At the moment, it just doesn’t seem to be a pressing issue for me. Yes, I go through the motions fairly often but walk away wondering, “why am I not getting something out of this?” I have started going at it from several angels; daily Bible reading, inspiration from 1-2 Christian authors, listening to favorite preachers on tv 2-3 X’s a week. I am clinging to the promise that His Word will not return void….so just be faithful.
