It made me

How I did it: I backpacked part of Europe with a couple of buddies in 2007. Barcelona was one of the best stops. It's so unique. The architecture was incredible! And the street performers blew my mind; their costumes were amazing. I couldn't believe the beach we stumbled on one day. It was absolutely awesome. Such deep, warm water. Very happy!
How I did it: I've been thinking about adopting for a long time and now that we're settled into our new house we're finally in a place where we can get another cat. So we went to the SPCA to look at the kittens and Frankie was the first we saw. He started crawling all over Steve, up and around his neck, and I could see that Steve fell in love with him right away. He was super playful and liked to cuddle so he was a perfect fit! How I did it: Found a great realtor who took us to see 3 houses one day. The first 3 were absolute dumps... and the 4th was OUR home. We knew it right away. We put our offer in as soon as our realtor heard another offer was going to be made - we got lucky and made the first offer. We just found out that we’re going to be having a new niece or nephew arrive so I’ve started a baby blanket. I think it’ll make a nice Xmas gift :)
