I find it really helps to repeat someone’s name out loud when they introduce themself to you. And not just say it, but think of the name as you say it. It doesn’t really freak people out either. Much.

It was fun having someone push me down a street at a high speed when I was 14 years old, but it’s a pretty superficial high! I think it’s all fine if you return it when you’ve had your giggles. Those things cost hundreds to replace, surely that would make almost anyone feel bad!
