I don’t think that even I realise how important this goal is to me, the idea has practically evaded me for most of my life. But there’s definitely something about putting pen to paper and being good at it. The thing that scares me is the amount of work and dedication it requires – everyone can write, but to do it so that the person reading has to stop for breath is another thing. Writing was and is how I’ll always express myself… I just need to take it more seriously now.

How I did it: it's a state of mind. once you've got the mindset to value simplicity, it's not hard to change your life around and give up complexity. simply, i just get rid of everything that doesn't mean A LOT to me. if i can live without it, then it's better that i do. get rid of any clutter, not just the physical clutter. it keeps everything that little more peaceful in your mind. How I did it: I don't know... with these conversations, they seem to branch off into original and interesting discussions, when you're open, intrigued and unashamed. Read how I did it…
This is one of my biggest downfalls and it’s most obvious with my university work. Compared to who I was back in high school, the laziness is really starting to cripple me – I don’t pay attention to deadlines anymore haha.
It’s not that I’ve lost my hunger to learn, it’s not that I don’t set goals – in fact, I write to-do lists obsessively. I just never cross things off on those lists. Hoooowwww? Anything to make the strain on willpower easier?
On average this goal takes 16 years to complete?! I don’t think someone really has to set this down as a goal to pursue it – it’s one of those things that will come naturally to you if you’re openminded about it. Like one of the past posters said, everyone is fascinating in their own way… a lot of it has to do with synchronicity as well, like when you just find that person you click with and can spend hours talking to.
