I am currently based in new zealand have been learing cello for two years using the suzuki method this year I am now ending book two which we have been supplementing with irish tunes for fun new teacher. But i am moving to Bermuda at the end of the year and just wondering if anyone knows of a good teacher for privaite lessons and possibly cello hire in bermuda?
I am learning to play cello this is my second year in lessons and i have begun to feel that i am now justified in saying that i can play cello. Now that i am learning my way around this amazing instrument and making it sound ok with some good pieces under my belt. To tell the truth I was never prepared for how much work i would have to put in. But it has been worth every ounce of time i have invested. It has become a major part of me and i don’t know how i ever survived without it. So so different from flute which came so naturally for me but cello is defintely more rewarding thats for sure. People look at me and wonder how i manage to carry ruby (my cello) on my back and get around to all the jam sessions that are going on as i don’t drive. But you will see me taking her on the bus and walking through town with her on my back. As you can see my cello is well travelled given that i only got her for christmas this year. The more exposure i get the better cellist i will become well heres hoping anyway.
