I have a budget now, and all my credit cards are either paid off or switched to low-interest accounts. Not perfect, but much better.

It’s so close to done. The kitchen, stairwells and landing are painted, and so is the front door and frame, which were some of my last “big” projects. Still lots of trim work and other little things to do, but I’m almost tempted to mark this one done.

I’m moving this one up because I’m focusing on it again. I take the GRE in three weeks, so I’m studying like mad. Have a summer undergrad class just as a refresher and a fall grad class at one of the schools I’m applying to. I may be teaching a college class as well. Things are looking up—hooray!
