Achieved my goal to be debt free except for the mortgage two weeks ago.

Right now, I am saving up for emergency fund (4 months of expenses).

8 years left for the mortgage, and my next aim is to settle it within 5 years.

Major adjustment I have made to be debt free:have a written budget, account for every cent and spend according to the budget for the past 8 months. No more unexpected expenses or excuse like “things just happened”

I was able to write paid posts in my blog and make a total of $1500 in Apr and May , used that to pay my sister. Should be debt free except for the mortagage by the end of this month, likely to achieve the goal a month earlier if nothing unexpected happens.

My next baby step is to save for a 3-6 months expenses as emergency fund. I have started two more blogs two weeks ago, and plan to monetised them in future. Hopefully, that will bring in some extra income that can be contributed towards the emergency fund.

Got rid of all credit cards except one 4 months ago, I am considering getting rid of this last remaining one too, maybe should get a debit card instead.
