How I did it: I bought the parts on ebay, Argos and Halfords. I replaced both tyres, the brake blocks, the front wheel and I cleaned the frame completely. How I did it: I hired the car, purchased an annual insurance excess policy and borrowed a GPS. I also familiarised myself with some of the routes as some were liable to road closures.
