Since adding thisone to my list I have managed to pick up the phone and get myself invited to a couple of networking events. I used to go to these things before and grew to hate them, but if I look at my client list it stares me in the face that this is a wonderful way to get new business. So next week – Tuesday and Wednesday I plunge back into the fray.

Setting up is hard to do...
... but well worth it. I think that, like having children, if people knew how hard it was going to be many wouldn’t start. But, thankfully people do keep getting stuck in. Starting a business is probably one of the most exciting and educational things you will ever do. I’m more than happy to chat about this subject.
Improving my Spanish
I have been learning Spanish now for about two years with a once a week two hour one-to-one session. I think I am making pretty good progress but I would be interested in meeting people at a similar (or slightly higher) level to practice a bit with. One-to-one is excellent but I miss the extra encouragement you get from a group situation.
