I have my first Duathlon (Running and cycling) this Sunday and I’m incredibly nervous! I’m hoping I’ll make lots of mistakes like I did on my Aquathlon and this will make me super prepared for my full triathlon. I’m competing in a small race which last year had 27 people in the group. There seems to be a considerable number of older people which i’m thinking is 1)awesome they are super fit at that age 2) highly embarrassing when they overtake me considering I’m 22 and supposed to be in my prime….. Many people have asked me about triathlons and I think I’m becoming a little addicted to this sport now!

Today I completed my first aquathlon and I certainly learnt a great deal! It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about what really works in transition, how exhausting a race can be but also how addictive this sport can get! Lots of lovely people which was a bonus and now I want to smash my time for my official triathlon in May!
