I’m working on this goal. If all goes well, I should be able to report back that I did it soon. : – )

I’ve started having vision problems. Particularly with focusing and distance. I think part of it is due to Mestinon. My theory is that it’s raising my blood pressure (which is what it’s supposed to do) and as a result, my vision has been wacky.
But I’m getting glasses sometime this week. Then I’ll reapply for my learner’s permit and hopefully, six months after that, get my driver’s license. Wouldn’t that be awesome??

Well, I’m not perfect with this goal. But I am writing more. Probably 2-3 times a week. Before it was about 1x every week or two. So I’m getting better. I just have to stay after it. :-)
And I wrote today so that makes me even happier. :-)

Decided that maybe this isn’t as important as I thought it was. I’ve decided on a career change. :)

I’m so happy! I have a chronic health condition and I am so happy I was able to go to graduation with the rest of my class! I did it! WOOOOOOOO!!!! :-)

This is a great chance to think about all your blessings. I enjoyed doing this! :)

I’ve started my own web design business and had quite a blast. I’ve been web designing for over two years and I have to say, nothing beats the rush of doing something that you love!

I think this quote by Emerson that I found on drumroll 43things.com actually describes how to do this:
“Wherever you are, be there.”
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
I AM living passionately…like the person before me said, I don’t need to put this on a list of goals! I’m already doing it! :-)
I have set my goals for 2008! YAY! Some of them are listed on 43 things.com and some of them aren’t. Here’s what I really want to do this year (provided I’m able because sometimes my health does get in the way):
Take a cake decorating class
write 1 novel—at least!
read the Bible through
keep a gratitude journal for 30 consecutive days
find a new hobby—possibly painting sun catchers
go to graduation
There they are in no particular order. :) YAY Me!! I rock!! :)

I LOVE having a digital camera…someone bought me one for Christmas 2007 and I’ve really enjoyed it. :-)

Well, as of 3:52PM on February 8, 2008, I have completed this goal! WOOOO!!! :-) Definitely a lot of fun. I just sat down on night and start writing down every little thing I’d like to do in my life. Some of these may come true; some of them may not. That’s OK. Goals change over the course of your life. I am gonna print this list out and update my 43 things again in 6-12 months. It’ll be interesting to see where I’m at, huh??

Yeah, this is me we’re talking about. I’ll probably be sitting in my bedroom, setting my goals for 2008 at 11:58PM on December 31, 2007…
I could do it now, but I’m exhausted. Figures. :)

My grandfather gave me a Windows XP operating system…it’s been gently used but I’m SO THRILLED to have a working computer! :) What a blessing! :)

Yeah, umm, I think I’ve definitely done this over the past couple of months! And it’s been AWESOME! My advice to somone who wants to do this: keep a journal and look back over it every couple of months! You’ll be suprised in the small ways you’ve grown! My God ROCKS! :-)

Last night (Friday, September 28, 2007) I did something totally random! I submitted a short piece of my writing to Chicken Soup for the Soul. The deadline was soon so that had something to do with my quick submission.
Nothing will probably come of it, but it was random, so it counts. LOL.

It’s Thursday, September 27, 2007 @ 10:37PM. I can’t believe that there are 931 OTHER people who want to grow in Christ too! And they say Christianity’s dead….ha!
Anyway, you know how obsessive I am about making sure my goals are not VAGUE! HATE vague goals. So (drum roll, please!) my goal is to grow in Christ by ______.
I’m not sure what belongs in that blank…I know!
My goal: I want to grow in Christ by seeking God’s will for my life everyday. ;-)

I use to write everyday without fail for months but then we moved and I got out of the habit. :-( So now I want to start writing again, everyday.
I think I can…I think I can…I think I can…I know I can!

I just sat down one day and I made a list of 100 things that make me happy or make me smile. Stuff like sipping hot chocolate on an autumn day, sleeping in late, etc—little things like that. It was AWESOME.
Saturday, September 15, 2007 @ 6:41PM—I’ve done something awesome today acknowledge my dream to:
Become a best-selling author.
Even if I don’t achieve this, I believe it’s important to set goals and to try to achieve them. It’d be so much easier to sit on the couch (especially now that we have cable) but I want to be a best-selling author. So, with that in mind, I’m gonna focus more on my writing.
And I’ll keep hoping that if I write well enough and submit enough manuscripts that I’ll hear those magical words someday:
“We [insert big name book publishing company] want to buy your book.”
