So, I’ve been going for a more natural approach as I’ve had negative reactions with commercial products. I recently had a really bad breakout last year (probably my worst) from being stressed. Usually it’s just mini bumps on my forehead and blemishes but this was full on acne. Since I got a lot of scarring from it this time too.
I’m into essential oils for everything else so I figured there had to be some that were good for acne and it seems like I found them! I’ve been using rosemary, lemongrass, and grapefruit essential oils (I use grapeseed oil as my carrier oil) on my face (a different mix for the day and for the night) and washing it off with African Black Soap afterwards topping it off with rose water (only in the mornings). I’ve still got some scars but there are little to no bumps anywhere now. That took about 2 months so I can’t wait to see what my face will be like in another two.

I have taken care of:
Bank fees from a bank account I had closed when I moved
Two old utility bills (phone & cable)
&
A student credit card
(Basically, all debts acquired from being a student out of state and suddenly having to relocate and start anew. Le sigh!)
I just put money towards consolidating my student loans and start payment on them while I resume my undergraduate studies. (In the past year I’ve also been able to save for this journey back into school :D )
And just the other day, I resumed payments toward a settlement for my other (and only other) credit card fees.
I think I may have just a bill for a prematurely cancelled Clearwire account I never paid off and possibly 2 other things that I’ll have to check. All I know for now is a good chunk of my debt will have been taken care of by March 2012. The weight on my shoulders has already been feeling lighter.

So, over the course of this year I’ve really made an effort to learn more. Before, I only had the several years learning in elementary and high school (it was repetitive so I never progressed into more challenging areas of the language). I also had a considerable amount of exposure due to the Spanish-speaking friends I kept and my love of Reggaeton. Though, that was not enough. So, I finally enrolled myself into several independent language classes (one was a intense six-week class and one a ten-week class). It was definitely worth it. I feel like I understand way more about conjugations and proper grammar so that I can actually make sense in written and conversational Spanish. This was one small stride as the learning is FAR from over but I have a better foundation now. :D
