Hit a rough spot. I stopped using all of the tools I have been given and ended up drunk. Sober again right now about three months, and have only drank once in the last nine months. I’m very shocked every time I think of that, because I am the person who drinks everyday all day. I can’t stay sober tomorrow today, so as long as I stay in the moment and don’t pick up that first drink, I will hit the pillow sober tonight. I hope anyone who is struggling with this addiction can find the help they need. I know connecting with others who struggle with this addiction has helped me, so I need to stay connected. If you are suffering from this affliction as I am, reach out to those that are successfully staying sober. They are usually willing to help, and it helps them as much as it helps you.

How I did it
How I did it: It was not easy for me. I had to move away from the place I grew up and go to rehab in California. I have been able to tap into a wonderful support system out here, and have begun to take a look at my self. I now know that my problem wasn't drinking. Drinking was the solution to my problem, albeit not the best one. I have been able to start thinking less about myself, and more about those around me. My life has taken a complete 180 … Read how I did it…
