Pre-Christmas Party 2 years ago

It was a surprise for my parents, kind of an early Christmas present. My sister and I invited people my parents hadn’t seen in AGES (about 10 others), and asked them to bring a dish or a bottle of wine, if possible. It was a wonderful time – everyone got along marvelously – a true example of what Christmastime SHOULD be. And we had no leftovers, which was kind of nice…we sent almost everyone home with something!

I can’t wait to do this again. My parents said we can make it a tradition! :)

learn to speak another language
Relearning French avec ma mere! 3 years ago

My mom used to be fluent in French (my grandmother’s from Quebec), and she’s lost a lot of her conversational abilities. So I suggested that when we talk about our day after dinner, we try to speak in French (me with my high school French and a semester in college). We’ll see how it goes!!!
