I’m still with a trainer (mine is Muay Thai), and I see him 2-3x a week…6.6lbs down from the exercise alone, and absolutely loving the muscle definition I see!

How I did it: From Hong Kong, I flew to New York, then to Cuba via Cancun on Mexicana Air. I arrived in Havana, and spent three days there before taking a 5-hour Viazul bus trip to Trinidad, where I spent another three days. My last one and a half days were spent traveling back to Havana and exploring more of the city. On my next trip back, I'd definitely fly via Canada instead as it will shorten travel time by almost ten hours, and f… Read how I did it…
So I found it hard to stick to the South Beach Diet long term, so I decided to be consistent with overall good eating habits and exercise…I’ve lost 3kg (6.6lbs) in the last 4mths, and couldn’t be happier. People have started to notice the weight loss, and I haven’t felt deprived at all: I enjoy my 3x a week exercise sessions (muay thai boxing + circuit work with a personal trainer), plus I’m trying to be more conscious about decreasing portions throughout the day. I let myself indulge occasionally in junk food, this way I stick to a generally decent diet without feeling depressed.
3.5lbs more to go!
Have organized a last minute weekend trip with a few girlfriends, where we definitely plan on walking the Great Wall. After doing my research, I am pushing for us to visit the Mutianyu section, where it will hopefully be less crowded and less touristy than Badaling, since it’s about an hour’s drive out of Beijing itself.
I’m excited!
