How I did it: I got on a plane and went. It was one of the most adventurous things I've ever done, but I'm glad I did. I'm also glad I had someone with me who happens to speak both French and Flemish. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Find a good piercer. Get the piercing- it only hurts for a half a second. Take care of it using the LITHA method: Leave It The H*ll Alone. Don't touch it, don't play with it, don't clean it with anything other than boiled water with salt added. Don't use soap, especially not antibacterial soap- if your piercer tells you to do this, they are wrong and you should get pierced by someone with more sense. Read how I did it…
I don’t know why I waited so long. Just didn’t have time, I guess. Anyway, now it’s done, and I no longer have a sh*tty tattoo, but rather a nice tattoo that I can be proud of. Yay!
I learned to drive a stick-shift first by buying a stick-shift car (so I had no option but to learn). Then I took the car out at 3 AM every night for a month. At that time of night, there is very little traffic, and nobody to be annoyed when you stall the car at stoplights. Once a month had passed, I was confident enough to drive during the day. That was twenty years ago, and now I wouldn’t dream of buying an automatic, because driving a stick is superior in every way.
