I started school on April 14th. I work in education and am lucky enough to be getting my education paid for by my employer! So I am taking advantage of the fact that I can be well on my way to my degree with no student loans! I am only taking one class at this time but that is the 1st step. I am finally in school again. I will have a Bachelors in Business Management before I know it!

I cant believe I am not teaching my daughter Spanish! She has been around it since she was born but moving out here to Washington 2 years ago meant all the people she knew who spoke Spanish were no longer around….except for me. Although I speak it and understand it, it is easier just to speak in English. Now she has lost it. I was looking into Spanish immersions schools in my area because I think she can pick it up just being exposed to it. She was 3 when we left L.A. and she will be staring kindergarten in Sept. I found a Spanish immersion elementary school but if she doesn’t get into that program I will have to figure out how to teach her at this stage in the game….what to do…..
My Husband, daughter, Sophia, a friend and I went to see the Dalai Lama, who was the main speaker at an event here in Seattle. I am still taking in the experience.
There was a lot of this wonderful things that happen and maybe soon I will write all about it but right now I am writing this to remind myself to be consistent. On one of the many cool handouts that were given it said Be Consistent. As I was reading it to my daughter today, she asked me what consistent meant. I was trying to explain consistent to my daughter and had a hard time putting it into a word that would make sense not to her but to me! I looked it up on an online Thesaurus.
Now I think I have a good foundation on how to explain it and Be Consistent. I have come to realize that in everything that grows there has to be something consistent. In everything I have done, when I was consistent I could move mountains. So I can be consistent when I want something bad enough but I have to actually want it SO bad that I finally just do it or rather I just BE and consistent has a lot to do with just BEING.
And in the words of Dalai Lama “That is all”
