2012: Year of Concerts... go to at least 12 concerts this year
2 awesome ones down, 10 (or hopefully more) to go!

So far, just in March I’ve seen Radiohead (yeah, be jealous) and this week went to see Kasabian. Two very awesome concerts. Of course this time of year Dallas always gets a lot of good bands coming through because SXSW is going on just 3 hours away from here.

Coming up in April, there is a Spoon concert (which is unfortunately sold out, but I still have hope) and a music festival from a local radio station that has my beloveds Dan and Pat (The Black Keys) headlining it!!! I still need a plan for May, but I’m sure something amazing will come up.

This is fun!!! I can definitely accomplish this goal.

Try a pescatarian diet for two months
I got this down!

Easy peasy!

I’ve been doing this since a little before Christmas and it really hasn’t been hard at all. At first, I noticed how much healthier I felt, but now I think my body is getting used to it and is settling in to it.

I’m going to continue doing this because I have a lot more reasons to continue with it now than I did when I first started. Although, I am going to tweak it a little bit and make sure I am not being a “carb-atarian” and that I actually eat enough vegetables and get enough protein everyday.

run a 5k
So I really don't have the best advice for this one....

I completed the Cowtown 5k run today. I didn’t train at all. Ooops… my bad. I’m not seriously injured or anything but the lactic acid in my legs is rendering me a bit useless. Ha!

I finished it in 43 minutes and change… Yeah, I walked quite a bit. I think for not training at all, this isn’t a bad first shot at something like this.

On the up side, I am completely loving this whole getting up early and running idea. So, maybe I will do that and if I choose to do another 5k any time soon, I will have less of an embarrassing finishing time.
